Meet Our 2015 Scholarship Recipients

Brandon Clark – Exercise Science Program

Brandon won the Williams Charitable Foundation Book Award.

““My ultimate goal is to graduate from a program that allows me to help individuals re-achieve their quality of life. I would like to work with college or high school aged athletes, but I would be happy helping any group of individuals get back to doing what they love to do.”

Alexandria Grow – Collaborative Secondary Special Ed/English Program

Alexandria won the Barbara Phillips Endowed Award for Special Education Teachers.

““Society relies on teachers to prepare children for their futures. I want to look further than the paperwork and emails ahead of me and know that the impact that I can make in children’s lives is priceless.”

Kastala Brown – K-6 Teacher Education Program

Kastala won the College of Education Scholarship.

“I persevered with my decision to become an educator because I knew that this was the calling on my life. After graduation, I plan to work as a teacher in the public school system while taking classes towards my master’s degree.”
